Terminal 3 cooling system shutdown
The Manila International Airport Authority will shut down the cooling system at NAIA Terminal 3 from 9pm July 16 to 9am the following day.
During the 12-hour shutdown, MIAA will upgrade the airconditioning system of the terminal. The fans will still work to provide ample circulation inside the terminal.
What to expect?
Although the outages is scheduled late at night to minimize disruptions, passengers might experience elevated temperatures.
Tips
Dress Comfortably: Since the air conditioning might be less effective during this period, dressing in easily removable layers or wearing breathable clothing can help you stay comfortable. Remember that it might be cold once you get in the plane.
Hydrate often: Bring a water bottle to hydrate yourself. Water-refilling stations are available throughout the terminal, usually next to the toilet areas.
