Transport Options in NAIA


Ride-sharing with Grab

Applicable for going to and out of Terminal 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Grab is the most recommended transport option to and from the airport. It's basically Uber for Southeast Asia, a ride-sharing app. Go ahead, download and register the Grab app so you have it handy ahead of your flight.

Grab fares going to and from the city should be around PHP300-500, depending on your location in Metro Manila.

Yellow-metered, Coupon and Regular Taxis

Airport taxis are applicable for LEAVING Terminal 1, 2, 3 and 4. Regular cabs can also be hailed for trips to the airport.

Yellow-metered, coupon and regular taxis are available for passengers leaving the aiport at NAIA Terminal 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Yellow-metered airport taxis are more expensive than regular taxis, but they can be hailed easier right outside each terminal. Prices should range from PHP120 to PHP700, depending on where you are going within Metro Manila.

Coupon airport taxis, meanwhile, are flat-rate taxis with bigger cargo hold. Rates depend on the zone you are going to.

Regular taxis are the normal cabs you see around Metro Manila. There is a flat flag-down fee of PHP40.00 + PHP13.50 per km + P3.50 every 2 minutes. Typical fares can range from PHP150 if you are staying near Mall of Asia or Entertainment City, PHP270-PHP300 to Makati, or up to PHP500-600 to Quezon City.

City Bus and UBE Express

City Bus via EDSA-MIA Route

Applicable for going to and out of Terminal 1, 2, 3 and 4.

If you are feeling extra adventurous, you can ride the EDSA-MIA bus route. This choice is cheaper than all the options above but since they are regular city buses, there might not be enough space if you are carrying a lot of luggage.

The route passes by NAIA Terminal 1 and 2. The route also goes both directions so you can ride it going to and from the airport. If you are coming from NAIA Terminal 3 or 4, you can ride the free shuttle bus going to the other terminals.

UBE Express

Applicable for GOING TO Terminal 1, 2, 3 and 4.

UBE Express are airport buses that ply on select route in Metro Manila. There is a standard fare of PHP300.00 per person.

The UBE Express terminal can be found in

  • Terminal 1: Main Arrivals area
  • Terminal 2: Arrivals Bay 17
  • Terminal 3: Arrivals Bay 14
  • Terminal 4: Arrivals exit

If you are heading to or from Entertainment City or Mall of Asia, you can ride the Entertainment City Loop. It stops by all major hotels and casinos around the area and also, Mall of Asia.

If you are staying in Manila Area, you can take the Robinsons Route that will take you to verious parts of Manila.

If you are heading to Quezon City, you can ride the Gateway Cubao route that will take you to Gateway Mall in Cubao. From Gateway Mall, you can transfer to train lines MRT3 and LRT2.
